High-end interior design studio in cheshire

Homes shaped by Italian warmth, designed for British life

Studio Dimora designs considered, high-end interiors rooted in the Italian way of living — where warmth, materiality and atmosphere are as important as aesthetics.

Each space is shaped around how you live, creating homes that feel effortless, refined and deeply personal.

“In Italian, dimora doesn't just mean house. It means the place that grounds you. The place that means more than four walls. If your home doesn't tell your story — it isn't really yours yet.”

“As a couple with zero creative talent we contacted Fed to interior design two living rooms in a house into which we had recently moved. Her vision and experience with the use of light, space, colour and texture was just brilliant and her suggestions for fixtures and fittings were very useful. We now have two rooms that are a pleasure to use for ourselves and for entertaining.

Thank you so much Fed.”

Our philosophy

A home should feel aligned with the life lived within it.

Storytelling through design

You've been to places, built things, lived a life. Your home should reflect that — layered with the details that make it unmistakably, irreplaceably yours.

Enduring over trend

We design for longevity. Spaces that feel timeless years from now, not just relevant to the season they were created in.

Italian warmth, always

Growing up in Sicily shaped how Federica sees the home. Not as a showpiece, but as a dimora — a place of genuine belonging, warmth, and everyday beauty.

Life, translated into space

We work with clients who have built something meaningful — families, careers, lives that deserve to be reflected in their environment. Our role is to translate that into a home that feels cohesive, intentional and unmistakably theirs.

Meet Federica Whitefoot, FOunder of Studio Dimora

Born in Italy.
Built in Cheshire.

Federica Whitefoot grew up in Sicily, where the relationship between home, culture and daily life is deeply rooted. That early perspective continues to shape her work — creating interiors that prioritise atmosphere, materiality and the way a space is experienced, not just how it looks.

After more than a decade living and working across Europe, she established Studio Dimora in Cheshire, bringing a distinct Italian sensibility to British homes.

Her approach is grounded in understanding how clients live, and translating that into spaces that feel cohesive, considered and quietly elevated.
